Program
The project is located on a twenty-three acre wooded site in the Pinelands. The project requirements included community support facilities for Senior Citizens for social events, meetings, food services, and recreation activities. Site requirements included an on-site septic system, a storm water management facility, parking for one hundred cars, a bus loop and drop off area.
Becica Associates' design places the parking area and bus loop close to the street, minimizing surface coverage and stormwater runoff. The building site and septic system are located to take advantage of existing topography while maintaining required clearance above existing ground water to minimize contamination potential. Becica Associates' design carefully integrates these elements into a manageable, cost effective solution while minimizing environmental impact.
