Life Link Homes, Inc.
Glassboro, New Jersey

Program
Robins’ Nest is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping those in need. This latest project, Life Link Homes, provides independent, residential space for young adults who have recently left the foster care system. Often these young people have not had the advantage of stable homes, they are expected to function in society without the benefit of guidance. Robins' Nest provides the nurturing environment necessary for these young adults so they can find their way.

Each unit is a studio space with full kitchen, full bath and living/sleeping areas. A one-story superintendents unit sits between two 2-story residential areas. The building exterior is clad in stucco with a stone base. Doric style columns define entries and porches. Generous windows provide abundant day-light. The exterior has ben designed to promote residential flavor and community spirit, and to provide a stepping stone for young people into the world.
